Pupil killed in Italian school blast
19/05/2012 - 09:16:36A student has been killed and seven others have been wounded by the explosion of a device in a rubbish bin outside their vocational high school in southern Italy, an official said.
The device went off just before 8am in the Adriatic port town of Brindisi just as students were arriving for class this morning.
Local civil protection official Fabiano Amati said a female student died of her wounds after being taken to a hospital and seven other students were being treated in hospital.
