Charge collectors receive death threats
20/08/2012 - 10:33:57The agency tasked with collecting the Household charge says staff members have received hate mail and death threats.
The Irish Examiner reports that a senior staff member received a shotgun cartridge in the post.
Households which have not yet paid the tax will be receiving letters threatening legal action if they do not pay the €100 charge plus interest.
