300 expected to compete in Liffey Swim

Around 300 swimmers will dive into the River Liffey today for the annual Dublin City Liffey Swim.

Now in its 92nd year, the 1.6km swim begins at Butt Bridge and finishes up at the East Link Bridge.

The race is open to competitors of all ages, abilities and nationalities.
