Beastie Boys star dies

Beastie Boys star Adam Yauch has died.

The 47-year-old rapper - known by the stage name MCA - had been battling cancer since 2009.

His mentor Russell Simmons has confirmed the news.

The Grammy-award-winning stars are probably best known for their single You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party.
