Bumpy week for Apple stocks

It has been a bumpy week for Apple stocks as the saga of its patents row with Samsung continues.

Samsung has appealed against a billion dollars in damages awarded to Apple by a Californian court.

Apple was seeking to permanently ban the US sale of eight Samsung smartphone models, which a jury decided illegally used Apple's technology.
