CSO figures reveal fall in days lost to industrial disputes
15/05/2012 - 11:36:35Up to 161 work days were lost through industrial disputes in the first three months of the year, according to figures from the Central Statistics Office.
The CSO numbers show there was just one such dispute in progress between January and March, and it involved 75 workers.
During the same period last year, three disputes involving 335 workers were ongoing.
They resulted in 2,451 lost work days.
