UPC launches on-demand TV service
22/05/2012 - 14:58:43UPC has launched an on-demand TV service for Ireland, offering catch-up television for free.
Customers of the digital TV provider will be able to watch programmes that have been broadcast on Irish channels on demand, as well as more than 1,300 hours of box sets from the UK and US for free.
UPC said the offer is possible due to a €500m investment in its fibre powered network.
The service will be available to one-third of all homes in Dublin from Friday and to the rest of the country throughout the summer.
