125,000 Twitter accounts have been suspended for terrorist-related activity
More than 125,000 Twitter accounts have been suspended since the middle of last year for threatening or promoting terrorist acts.
The social media site has said most of them related to the so-called Islamic State group.
It is using special software to help track down the accounts - and has increased the number of staff working on reports of suspicious activity.
Twitter has received criticism for both suspending accounts and also for being an ‘ISIS friendly’ account.
