WATCH: Romanian player’s emotional proposal moments after final whistle
Ireland left Wembley with the win this evening, but one of the Romanian players left with a prize of his own - a brand new fiancee.
Scrum-half Florin Surugiu was quick to put the defeat behind him - proposing to his girlfriend out on the field after the game.
The couple were surrounded by teammates, who appeared to have known about the plan, and also received warm applause from fans still in the stadium.
And, most importantly, she said yes!
The romantics on Off the Ball were there to describe the happy event.

The couple also received good wishes online, as TV cameras picked up the proposal.
