Tigers' Murphy fears Wasps' sting

09/12/2004 - 14:12:15
Ireland strike runner Geordan Murphy has warned Wasps are far from a beaten club ahead of Leicester Tigers date with destiny at Welford Road on Sunday.

The two clubs will lock horns in the knowledge that it will be difficult for both sides to make it through to the quarter-finals of the European Cup.

"We scored three tries, but yet didn't have to work too hard for them as we were able to feed off Wasps' mistakes. I don't see them making the same mistakes this time around," said Murphy.

"They'll be bitterly disappointed after losing at home. They're normally a passionate side, but I'm sure they'll be even more geed up come Sunday."
