Three changes in Derry side for qualifier
Derry have made three changes for Sunday's all-Ulster second round qualifier derby against Down in Newry.
Both Paul McFlynn and Johnny McBride return to the Oak Leaf side, having been replacements in last weekend's 1-11 to 0-10 Ulster semi-final loss to champions Armagh.
McFlynn takes over from the injured Padraig Kelly at left half-back, while McBride comes in at left half-forward for Colin Devlin.
The other switch Derry boss Mickey Moran has made sees Michael Kelly replace Gerard O'Kane at corner back.
Top-scoring forward and captain Paddy Bradley, who has been rumoured to be considering a temporary switch to rugby with local club Limavady, lines out at full-forward.
Bradley has hit 1-15 in two championship games so far this summer.
Sunday will be Down and Derry's first championship clash since 1994, when the Mourne men triumphed 1-14 to 1-12 in Ulster and went on to All-Ireland glory.
DERRY (SFC v Down): B Gillis; K McGuckin, K McCloy, M Kelly' P Wilson, SM Lockhart, P McFlynn; F Doherty, Patsy Bradley; P Murphy, E Bradley, J McBride; M Lynch, Paddy Bradley (capt), E Muldoon.
