Song making good progress

The five-year-old mare, winner of three Group One races last season, was left ‘intermittently lame’ by the problem and owners Elite Racing were not sure if the daughter of Marju would be able to race on.
However, Jacko Fanshawe, wife of trainer James, today issued an upbeat bulletin and a decision on Soviet Song’s future is expected soon.
“She’s in terrific form and absolutely bouncing out of her skin. A final decision will be made on her future in a couple of weeks,” said Mrs Fanshawe.
