Song links up with Arsenal
18/07/2005 - 09:52:45Bastia defender Alexander Song has joined Arsenal on trial at their pre-season camp in Austria this week.
The 18-year-old, who can also play in midfield, has attracted the interest of Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who is looking for a replacement for Patrick Vieira following his move to Juventus last week.
Song has come through the youth ranks at recently-relegated Bastia, penning his first professional contract last season and making 34 appearances in Ligue 1.
The Cameroon-born player has also been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
