Cristiano Ronaldo reacted like a spoilt toddler when his team-mate got to the ball to score ahead of him last night.
The team-mate was defender Alvaro Arbeloa and it was his first La Liga goal in more than five years.
The 32-year-old got his boot to the ball for a tap-in goal a split second ahead of Ronaldo.
But it seemed Ronaldo couldn’t even pretend to be happy for Arbeloa, instead kicking petulantly at the ball in the net before walking away shaking his head.
His reaction did not go down well on Twitter, particularly given it was such a rare goal for his fellow Real Madrid player.
He may be the second-best footballer ever, but Cristiano Ronaldo has certainly remained humble. It's just so refreshing to see. #Arbeloa

Another tantrum from Ronaldo when his team score. A genius of a player, but his behaviour at times is pathetic.

It's not only Bale who Ronaldo resents scoring. He's just sulked after Arbeloa's goal - his first in a league game since 2008!

Arbeloa attempted to defuse the criticism by saying he had no problem with the Portuguese star’s childish display.

Ronaldo just can't seem to help himself - every time he does
