Robert Lewandowski will be leading the line for Poland in, potentially, a do-or-die final Euro 2016 qualifier next month.
Thus the news that the Bayern Munich frontman has hit unmarkable form comes as a dire warning.
Still, you can’t help but applaud as half-time substitute Lewandowski scored 5 goals in 9 minutes to turn around Bayern’s Bundesliga tie against Wolfsburg tonight.
Pep Guardiola was beside himself with joy!
Pep Guardiola's reaction to @lewy_official's fifth goal for @FCBayernEN says it all! Stunning. https://t.co/dAbOtBx8Z4

That was after Lewandowski’s fifth, and the best of the lot too.
His first was the equaliser…
And his second wasn’t bad either!
1 of many for Lewandowski today, will he score more? http://t.co/5nCojpzn1s

Will he score more? Yes, three more in fact!
You can’t help but watch that fifth goal twice!
Irish strikers took note too…
Lewandowski just scored my season tally in 9 minutes

Although there is some hope…
5 - Robert Lewandowski has now gone more than 5 minutes without scoring another goal. Overrated.
