Richmond Park must have briefly felt like the Nou Camp last night, as St Patrick’s Athletic combined to score a team goal that wouldn’t look out of place in the Champions League knock-out stages.
The Airtricity League side took on a Manchester City development squad, trained by Patrick Viera, and were worthy 3-2 winners on the night.
This goal by Chris Forrester was the highlight of the match. His finishing alone would make it worth a look, but the sublime tiki taka build-up from his team-mates made it a truly special score.
The final pass to cut through the defence and set Forrester up is a thing of beauty.
Messi and co would have been proud of that one.
