Watch Claudio Ranieri’s touching reaction to thanks from Leicester fans

Claudio Ranieri appears to be on a mission to bring joy to the world.

The quiet Italian isn’t content with leading Leicester City to the brink of one of the greatest sporting fairy tales of all time. He is also determined to endear himself to the world with his humility and joyous love of football.

Last week he refused to worry about whether his team could win the Premier League, saying instead: “We are in the Champions League, man! Dilly ding, dilly dong!”

And here he is being charmingly overwhelmed by thanks from Leicester fans.

Video from TRT World.

Ranieri was shown messages from Leicester supporters young and old.

One said: "We've not seen anything like this before, it is incredible and thank you for everything you've done so far."

"We would like to thank you very much for all that you've done for the Leicester City Football Club since you came,” an elderly woman added.

“Oh thank you, thank you so much, wonderful,” Ranieri said after watching.

“I am very happy when the other people and the fans are happy.

“I love this,” he adds, before asking for a copy of the video.

What a sweetheart.
