VIDEO: Ronaldo gives a young fan his jersey after hitting him with a free kick

Cristiano Ronaldo thought of the perfect way to cheer up a little boy in the crowd after accidentally hitting him with a football.

The Real Madrid star was warming up before the midweek Champions League game by practicing free kicks.

One shot went into the stands and hit a young boy.

Ronaldo saw it and was clearly concerned for the welfare of the child, watching while medics checked to make sure he was unhurt.

When the rest of the Real Madrid went back inside after warming-up, Ronaldo jogged back over to the stand.

He pulled off his training top and handed it to the young lad he had hit earlier.

What a kind gesture, just the thing to put a smile back on the young lad's face.
