Irish international Wes Hoolahan was booked in last night’s Championship match after being caught by the referee in an act of simulation.
Hoolahan was booked on the stroke of half-time for trying to win a penalty in Norwich’s 0-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough.
The video doesn’t make good viewing for Hoolahan, who was man of the match in Ireland’s most recent Euro 2016 Qualifier against Poland.
The loss looks to have left Norwich’s automatic promotion hopes to the Premier League hanging by a thread as Middlesbrough leap-frogged them after last night’s victory.
Hopefully Hoolahan will be making the headlines for the right reasons when Ireland meet Scotland in their crucial qualifier in June.
