Louis van Gaal got a little more than he expected when he took part in a fan meet and greet during the week.
He and his players met with a group of supporters with serious illnesses as part of the Manchester United Foundation Dream Day.
One fan in particular caught the manager’s attention when he presented him with an ambitious list of transfer targets.
Mat Hummels,Paul Pogba and Gareth Bale were just some of the players the superfan wanted van Gaal to buy for the club.
Seems reasonable.
The United manager kept the list, coming in at a bargain £281m, for future reference.
He may have a reputation for grumpiness with journalists, but the Dutchman was all smiles for the visitors as they enjoyed their day.
Everyone's talking about it - this will brighten up your day... #MUdreamdayhttps://t.co/ngIeQ4zcgG
