There was a very witty conversation on Twitter this afternoon between a Brendan Rodgers parody account and Tesco’s customer service.
If you haven't come across @DeludedBrendan before, it’s a spoof account taking the mick out of the Liverpool manager and his occasional flights of fancy.
The conversation between the two accounts started earlier this month with the spoof account asking @Tesco about the chances of getting a bargain from them - ideally English and full of “character”.
@Tesco Got any deals on? I have a budget of £0 and preferably I'd like the product to be English and show great character.

The store solemnly promised to keep an eye out in Southampton, a source of three Liverpool players last summer.
