Fernando Torres ousted Demba Ba from the Chelsea starting line-up as the Blues looked to take one step towards the Capital One Cup final by beating Swansea at Stamford Bridge.
Ba, who scored twice on debut at Southampton on Saturday, had to settle for a place on the bench for tonight’s semi-final first leg while Oscar replaced Victor Moses in the only other change to Rafael Benitez’s starting XI.
Swansea made five changes to the team that drew 2-2 with Arsenal on Sunday, with star striker Michu the most notable addition to Michael Laudrup’s team.
