Wayne Rooney starts up front against his old club Everton as Manchester United look to return to winning ways at Goodison Park.

Rooney played in midfield against Chelsea last weekend but on Sunday he returns to his favoured striking role as Radamel Falcao drops to the bench and Daley Blind comes back into the starting XI following an ankle injury.

Everton make two changes, with Leon Osman and Romelu Lukaku coming in for Kevin Mirallas and Arouna Kone.

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Lennon, Barkley, Osman, Lukaku. Subs: Robles, Kone, Mirallas, Naismith, Besic, Garbutt, Alcaraz.

Man Utd: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, McNair, Shaw, Blind, Mata, Ander Herrera, Fellaini, Young, Rooney. Subs: Di Maria, Falcao, Januzaj, van Persie, Valdes, Blackett, Pereira.
