Sturridge in line for start against United
Striker Daniel Sturridge is in contention for his Barclays Premier League debut for his new club at Manchester United having joined from Chelsea last week.
The 23-year-old scored on his first appearance in the FA Cup win at Mansfield on Sunday and could keep his place at Old Trafford, where the likes of the rested Steven Gerrard, Jose Reina and Glen Johnson will all return.
Forward Fabio Borini is back in the squad having been sidelined since mid-October with a broken foot.
