FIFA have announced the goal of the tournament, and Rodriguez beat Van Persie.
More than four million people voted for James Rodriguez’ volley against Uruguay and FIFA have named it the goal of the tournament.
Second place went to Robin Van Persie’s stunning header against Spain in his side’s opening game.
