New deal for Liverpool defender

Defender Martin Kelly has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool, the club have confirmed.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers revealed at a press conference today he was expecting the 22-year-old to sign a new contract soon.

Kelly, currently out with a cruciate knee ligament injury, this afternoon put pen to paper on a new deal at Anfield.
