Everton boss David Moyes is optimistic midfielder Marouane Fellaini will be available for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Fellaini, who has been nursing a hip injury, did not feature in Belgium’s 2-1 win over Slovakia on Wednesday and will be assessed by the Toffees ahead of the United game, with Moyes saying he thinks the 25-year-old will be “OK” to play.
Phil Jagielka is expected to be involved despite sitting out England’s 2-1 victory against Brazil, while fellow defenders Seamus Coleman (thigh) and Tony Hibbert (calf) remain sidelined.
Provisional squad: Howard, Jagielka, Distin, Heitinga, Baines, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Osman, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jelavic, Mucha, Neville, Anichebe, Vellios, Gibson, Mirallas, Duffy.
