Kerryman gets World Cup winner's signature

Mike Griffin has been in Brazil collecting signatures throughout the World Cup and last night put the icing on the cake with a signature from a newly crowned World Cup winner.

Griffin posted this incredible selfie on his Facebook page - of himself in the stadium last night with Mesut Ozil signing his jersey. The German star is shirtless with his World Cup medal hanging around his neck.

Griffin has been trying to get as many signatures as possible on his club ‘Na Gaeils’ jersey and plans to auction it for charity when he gets home.

Ozil joins former World Cup winners Patrick Vieira, Diego Maradona, David Trezeguet and Fabio Cannavaro in signing the shirt as well as a host of other non-World Cup winning footballers.

Here Griffin chats with Jimmy Magee in Brazil about his autograph hunt.

He also bumped into Dirk Kuyt on the beach and persuaded the Dutchman to wish his club all the best.

Go to Mike’s Facebook page for more on the story and pictures and video of him with an incredible line-up of football stars.

As you can see above he even got Sky Sports Soccer Saturday legend Chris Kamara. Unbelievable!
