Jamie Vardy lookalike invited to join the team party

The celebrations look set to continue for some time in Leicester.

Last night’s 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Tottenham was enough to confirm the Foxes as Premier League champions - and it looks like no-one in Leicester has had a wink of sleep since.

Crowds of fans gathered outside the King Power Stadium and when the team bus turned up - one fan in particular found himself at the centre of the party.

Lee Chapman is a Leicester postman who has found fame in recent months because of his close resemblance to Jamie Vardy. When the team saw him at the stadium they invited him to join them for a while.

“I’ve not slept. I went in for work at 6.30am and ran my round so I could be here outside the stadium. I’m still supposed to be at work now,” Chapman told the Guardian.

Video from Josh Halliday.

“I’m lost for words at the fact Leicester have won. I’m a Leicester-born, Leicester-raised, Leicester fan.”

Looks like the biggest party in the world right now is happening in Leicester.
