The Bulgarian side had been a goal down going into the second leg of their final qualifier against Steaua Bucharest, but a last-gasp goal sent the tie to extra-time.
There was only seconds left when the Ludogorets’ goalie was sent off leaving the side to face a penalty shoot-out without a substitution left to put on a new ‘keeper.
Up stepped 29-year-old Moti to earn himself a place in Champions League folklore.
He buried the first penalty for Ludogorets then calmly walked forward to take over the goalkeeping duties.
Both sides scored before Moti saved twice to earn his side a Champions League place and himself a place in footballing history.
