Here's how to get your hands on a ticket for Ireland's World Cup play-offs

Republic of Ireland supporters will be able to buy tickets on Friday, October 20 for the home leg of the World Cup play-offs, writes Stephen Barry.

The public sale for Aviva Stadium tickets will begin at 11am, with prices starting at €30 for adults and €20 for kids, excluding booking fees.

A pre-sale for FAI Season Ticket holders, Club Ireland members and Jack Charlton Lounge patrons will begin on Wednesday, October 18 at 11am.

The draw to decide Ireland's opponents - Croatia, Denmark, Italy or Switzerland - will be made on Tuesday, October 17 at 1pm, with a draw for home advantage subsequently held.

The games will take place between November 9 and 14.

Applications for the away leg can be submitted via the FAI's Away Ticketing System on Thursday, October 19.
