It's a lonely, lonely life for Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The German World Cup winner has been frozen out of Manchester United by Jose Mourinho and before United's EFL cup tie against crosstown rivals Manchester City last night, Bastian took to Twitter to show his infinite soundness by wishing his colleagues well.

He looks like a lost little boy who just wants to be reunited with his mates!
You can't help feel sorry for him and now he's suffered another embarrassment.
The club released their official squad photo for the 2016/17 season and the German is ommitted from the picture.

Bizarrely, the club has also opted to omit the FA Cup which they won last season, leading fans to speculate on Twitter if Louis van Gaal had taken it with him when he was sacked!
Strangely, the Community Shield takes centre stage!
