Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is keen for the club to sort out the undersoil heating problems at the Reebok Stadium ahead of the match against Liverpool on Monday.
With severe bad weather forecast, Allardyce fears a fixture pile-up if the matter is not resolved in the next few days.
The home match against Middlesbrough will have to be re-arranged after it was postponed last night because of a fault in the heating system.
Bolton also have an away game with Birmingham to fit in as that fixture was called off because of fog.
Allardyce said: “We have to make sure the pitch is ready for the Liverpool game as we cannot afford to have any more games postponed.
“The load is becoming greater after the Middlesbrough match was called off.
“We were all extremely frustrated and disappointed that happened. It was a nightmare.”
