Skehill injury causes concern for Galway

The Galway hurlers suffered an injury scare last night which threatened to disrupt their preparations for their All-Ireland SHC final replay against Kilkenny.
Reports emerged that the Tribesmen's first choice goalkeeper James Skehill had sustained a dislocated shoulder during a training session with the panel.
However, it is understood that the injury is not as bad as first feared and he is still likely to play in Sunday's rematch with the Cats.
The 24-year-old net minder had his damaged shoulder put back in place by doctors during a hospital visit.
Skehill injured his shoulder when diving for a ball during last night's training stint. He has dislocated both shoulders in the past, and is facing an operation in the future to repair some torn shoulder ligaments.
He would be a big loss if he was forced out of the replay, given his superb display in keeping Kilkenny goalless in the drawn game.
Should he be unable to start, Under-21 goalkeeper Fergal Flannery is standing by to take his place.
Otherwise, Galway boss Anthony Cunningham is planning to go with an unchanged team.
Positional switches are anticipated with defenders Johnny Coen and Fergal Moore, the captain, due to swap corners and Niall Donoghue and David Collins also likely to be on different wings than as they are listed on the teamsheet.
GALWAY (SHC v Kilkenny): James Skehill; Johnny Coen, Kevin Hynes, Fergal Moore (capt); Niall Donoghue, Tony Og Regan, David Collins; Iarlaith Tannian, Andy Smith; David Burke, Niall Burke; Cyril Donnellan, Damien Hayes, Joe Canning, James Regan.
