Sedgefield set to inspect

25/01/2010 - 13:44:21
Tomorrow’s meeting at Sedgefield is subject to a 7.30am precautionary inspection due to the threat of frost.

With temperatures set to dip below freezing overnight, clerk of the course Charlie Moore decided it was better to err on the side of caution.

“We are going to have a 7.30am precautionary inspection,” said Moore.

“It may get down to -1C or-2C and if it does get down to -2C early enough that might give us a little problem.”
