Former Ireland rugby player Alan Quinlan lost control of an interview on Sky News yesterday, when son AJ decided he wanted in on the action.
Quinlan was on Skype to the news channel, to discuss the weekend’s rugby live on air.
Unfortunately AJ got bored and wandered over to see what daddy was up to on the computer.
While in full view of the camera he decided to do what lots of toddlers do - check out the contents of his nostrils and rub the result on the nearest surface.
In this case, his dad’s jumper. Lovely.
Alan Quinlan live on @SkyNews interview via skype and his albeit cute son picks his nose and wipes on daddy's t-shirt 😂😂😂 #IrelandRugby

A mortified Quinlan contacted the producer to let her know about AJ’s impromptu on-air appearance and the Munster legend clearly saw the funny side.
@NicKeaney disaster this morning my son decided to join in on the interview. You'll get the sack for asking me to do it. Sorry. Ha.

Thanks for all the funny tweets about my son joining in on my interview. I'm still laughing and mortified. It could have been a lot worse.
