The Leinster team took time out from preparing for Friday’s match against Connacht to pay a visit to the children, parents and staff in Temple Street children’s hospital yesterday.
With some of the patients not able to go home for Christmas, the rugby players wanted to spread a little cheer around the hospital with autographs and pictures for everyone.
Young Andrew Burke from Clare nearly caused a diplomatic incident when he produced a Munster teddy, but he kindly agreed to pose for a picture with the Leinster lads anyway.
