In the front row Michael Bent switches to loosehead and Tadhg Furlong replaces him at tighthead, while Richard Strauss starts at hooker.

Kane Douglas keeps his place in the second row, but is joined this week by Tom Denton in his first start of the season.

Kevin O’Loughlin is back to captain the side in his first appearance since he was sidelined with a knee injury in September. He starts at blindside flanker, with dominic Ryan at openside and Jack Conan starting at number eight.

Zane Kirchner starts again at fullback and the wingers are also unchanged from last weekend with Darragh Fanning on the right and Luke Fitzgerald on the left.

Ben Te’o makes his senior debut at outside centre and is partnered with Noel Reid. Luke McGrath is selected at scrum half and Jimmy Gopperth is at number ten.
