Six Nations champions due home today

The victorious Six Nations Irish rugby squad will arrive at Dublin Airport this afternoon.

Their flight is due to land at 3.30pm.

They won the Six Nations after beating Scotland 40-10 at Murrayfield and England failed to beat France by the necessary margin.

Fans at Murrayfield Stadium after Ireland were crowned Six Nations champions dubbed yesterday's win "the best Six Nations ever".

"It was just so exciting…We were on edge all day," said one, while another said: "We're so chuffed, just so chuffed."
