Rob Kearney’s tweet today reminded us why we love Paul O’Connell so much - no fancy-pants designer bag for the big Limerick man, no sirree.
The two are in Italy with the rest of the squad preparing for Ireland’s opening Six Nations game tomorrow.
And it looks like Paulie forgot something when he was packing.
If anyone has a spare @IrishRugby back pack can they send it to Rome for Paulie's attention please!! pic.twitter.com/yhIqL4KUFc

Naturally Rob’s tweet triggered joke responses on Twitter - with Leinster Rugby using the opportunity to have a chuckle at their provincial foe.
.@KearneyRob @IrishRugby We have a couple of these at HQ if he's stuck pic.twitter.com/5gTW3ef1pt

Then Ulster Rugby decided to share the joke.
@KearneyRob @IrishRugby we could send one of these with yours @leinsterrugby? pic.twitter.com/vosHdTw5D4

Yeah yeah, you’re all very witty - who’s going to offer them to his face though?
