Mick O'Driscoll is in line to join Munster's backroom staff for the next two years as Technical Advisor.

The role will also include responsibility for the Munster A squad.

It is the first appointment for incoming Head Coach Anthony Foley and will see Micko come on board on July 1.

Mick O'Driscoll said: "I am really looking forward to working with Anthony, Niall and the team again.

"I was immersed in the Munster way for over a decade, playing at the top level in Ireland and France, and I believe I can call on that wealth of experience in this new role."
