Anthony Foley has named his squad for Munster’s first game in the new European Champions Cup competition - an away match against Sale Sharks.

In the front row hooker Duncan Casey makes his first start in European competition, with Dave Kilcoyne and Stephen Archer at either side.
Munster talisman Paul O’Connell is back in the starting 15, partnered with Dave Foley in the second row.
The back row is unchanged from last week, made up of captain Peter O’Mahony, Tommy O’Donnell and CJ Stander at number 8.
Ian Keatley and Conor Murray start in the half-backs, while Denis Hurley is at inside centre alongside Andrew Smith. Felix Jones starts at full-back, flanked by Simon Zebo and Andrew Conway
