Munster make eight changes for Glasgow game

Anthony Foley has made eight changes to his starting 15 as Munster travel to Scotstoun Stadium to face the Glasgow Warriors in the PRO12.

Anthony Foley has made eight changes to his starting 15 as Munster travel to Scotstoun Stadium to face the Glasgow Warriors in the PRO12.

Five of the changes are in the pack. Kevin O'Byrne and Stephen Archer come into the front row to start alongside John Ryan.

Billy Holland joins Paul O’Connell in the second row and Sean Dougall and Robin Copeland start in the back row, joining captain Peter O’Mahony.

JJ Hanrahan started at inside centre last week in Munster’s Champions Cup defeat to Clermont, but this week makes the switch to out-half. Instead Denis Hurley and Pat Howard form the centre partnership.

The final change sees Johne Murphy start at full-back with Simon Zebo and Abdrew Conway on the wings.

The match is in the Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday December 20 - kick-off 2.40pm.

Munster team in full: Johne Murphy; Andrew Conway, Pat Howard, Denis Hurley, Simon Zebo; JJ Hanrahan, Conor Murray; John Ryan, Kevin O'Byrne, Stephen Archer; Billy Holland, Paul O'Connell; Peter O'Mahony - capt., Sean Dougall, Robin Copeland.

Replacements: Niall Scannell, Eusebio Guinazu, BJ Botha, Donncha O'Callaghan, Dave O'Callaghan, Duncan Williams, Ian Keatley, Felix Jones.
