Conor Murray try helps Lions to win over 14-man All Blacks

The British & Irish Lions have beaten the All Blacks 24-21 at the Westpac Stadium in New Zealand today.

An opportunistic try from Conor Murray brought the Lions level at 21-21 with just over 10 minutes to go in the game.

The Lions had a ruck just metres from the All Black's line and the Munster man stepped back from it before darting over the tryline to score. Owen Farrell converted to bring it level.

The home side then conceded a penalty with three minutes to go which Farrell put between the posts to set up a tense final few minutes which they survived to score the victory.

Warren Gatland's side were level 9-9 with New Zealand at half-time who have had Sonny Bill Williams sent off.

Williams was given a straight red card for ramming his shoulder into the head of Anthony Watson in the tackle after 24 minutes.

All the scores from the first half came from the boot of Owen Farrell for the Lions and the kicking of Beauden Barrett for the home side.

Barrett continued to score for New Zealand in the second half with three more penalties in the first 17 minutes, but thankfully for the Lions, they were interspersed with two misses from Barrett.

However, it was a try from Taulupe Faletau that started the second-half comeback for the Lions. He powered over in the corner after a burst from Watson on the other side of the pitch.

Johnny Sexton started the move from Watson's break to feed it across the ground to Owen Farrell and Liam Williams who fed Faletau for the score. Farrell's conversion went wide of the posts for the score to stand at 18-14 for the All Blacks.
