BOD makes strangest Ice Bucket nomination yet

Brian O’Driscoll was man enough to pour the bucket over himself when completing the ice bucket challenge and, judging by his reaction, he didn’t do himself any favours with the temperature.

The rugby legend was nominated by Irish golfer Shane Lowry and completed the challenge in aid of ALS.

His choice of nominees has drawn a lot of attention.

First up was Tanu Umaga, the All Black player who famously spear-tackled BOD in the opening game of the 2005 Lions Tour.

Next was his former coach Warren Gatland and for his final nominee he chose……Prince Albert of Monaco,.

Yep, the head of state.

So from Shane Lowry to Prince Albert of Monaco in two steps.
