Rugby League: Clontarf take on Blues for title
11/08/2004 - 19:18:42The Rugby League Ireland Conference reaches its climax this Saturday as Clontarf Bulls aim to round off their impressive debut RL season by clinching the title against Dublin Blues at Castle Avenue.
Both sides will be no strangers to each other, having already clashed twice in the group stage this season.
Although Clontarf got the upper hand in week 2 with a 34-30 win at Stradbrook, the Blues gained revenge last month when they survived a late rally by the Bulls to run out 22-20 winners.
Points difference was all that divided the two sides in the Leinster table with Clontarf topping the group but that will count for very little come Saturday.
Kick-off at Castle Avenue next Saturday is at 5pm.
