Robinho's Real deal agreed
Real Madrid are set to tie up a deal for Santos striker Robinho after the Spanish club agreed to pay a $50m (€41m) buyout clause.
The money has been paid into a Brazilian fund although it is yet to be decided how it will be distributed between player, club and agent.
Brazil international Robinho has already reportedly passed a medical conducted by Real and the player is expected to fly to Madrid on Friday and may then join the Primera Liga club in training in China.
Real striker Ronaldo admits he is looking forward to playing with the 21-year-old Sao Vicente-born player.
Ronaldo said: “He won’t have any problems getting used to the club.”
Robinho is considered the hottest property in Brazil and arguably the highest profile footballer to play for Santos since the legendary Pele.
