Richardson in talks about Cork City role

Cork City manager Damien Richardson is in talks about extending his stay at Turner’s Cross – just days after admitting he was considering his future at the club.

Rico claimed that he could walk away from Cork at the end of the season over what he perceives as continually bad refereeing decisions against his team, though talks have now started about a new two-year contract.

Richardson joined Cork at the beginning of last season and signed a two-year contract, a deal many thought would be his last in football, though it now appears that the manager may stay on for a further two years.
