Tomasz Radzinski inspired Fulham’s narrow escape from Carling Cup embarrassment at the City Ground.
Radzinski grabbed an 86th minute equaliser to force extra-time after Marlon King’s 71st minute opener for Nottingham Forest.
The former Everton man then put his side ahead in the 94th minute and Brian McBride added the third. Andy Reid reduced the deficit but Andy Cole sealed Fulham’s win two minutes from the end.
