Powerful Agger strike knocks team-mate out cold
Denmark’s Daniel Agger knocked his team-mate Nicolai Boilesen unconscious during their Euro 2016 qualifier against Portugal last night.
The ball was in the Denmark box and the former Liverpool defender unleashed a powerful kick to clear it away.
Unfortunately it connected with Boilesen’s head at close range and the player collapsed instantly.
The Ajax left-back was stretchered from the pitch and brought to hospital to be checked for concussion.
